GasLiftValveTempertureDetailPanel

This is an expert panel that is used to model and predict flowing wellbore temperatures.

Three methods are available, with the Straight Line Interpolation method being the simplest, and Rigorous Heat Transfer being the most complex.

The Shiu Beggs method is an empirical method that does a pretty good job of matching measured data and can easily be tuned to known wellbore temperature profiles.

The tuning process involves starting with a known temperature profile entered on the actual data panel.  Then show a first pass GasLift plot using the conditions that were valid whent eh survey was run.

Now the actual data and predicted data will show on the GasLift plot behind the detailed temperature options panel.  Adjust the ambient temperature, press the Shiu Beggs Method Button, then press the Post results ... button.  You will now see the revised prediction.  Keep adjusting the ambient temperature and updating until you have minimized the error between the measured pressure and predicted pressure.
