Wellbore Deviation Surveys
Wellbore deviation surveys can be added with cut-and-paste from your deviation records. If you don't have those records, it is not efficient to hand-enter more than a few lines of this data since that requires more work than entering MD/TVD pairs into wellbore and Gaslift panels.
Once you have loaded a Deviation Survey, it will be used to automatically synchronize wellbore, gaslift, jet-pump and other data that require MD/TVD pairs.
Since hundreds of data points can bloat up SNAP files and not add meaningful resolution, it is recommended that you press the "Reduce Number of Segments " enough times that the segment count drops below 20. This function will retain most meaningful deviation entries.
To disable automatic synchronization, just remove the deviation survey data entries and save the dataset to lock down the changes.
