Inputs General Description

The following items may be edited on the General Information Panel:

Title:  The title identifies the well or field.  A maximum of 60 characters can be used in this title.  It will appear at the top of each page of the output report.   All characters, numbers and symbols are valid on this line.

Oil Well:  The IPR is generated in terms of stock tank barrels of liquid per day, and multiphase flow correlations are used in the pressure drop calculations in the flowline and tubing.

Gas Well:  The IPR is generated on the basis of gas properties in terms of  mscfd, and single or multiphase flow correlations are used to calculate the pressure drop in the flowline and tubing.

Completion Type:  Provides options for inclusing pressure drops in completions.  Should be set to Not Calculated unless you have detailed completion data or are doing a completion study.

Include Flowline:  If this box is checked, the analysis includes the flowline, the tubing, and the reservoir.  The total system will include the separator, flowline, wellhead, tubing,  bottomhole completion, and reservoir.

Gas Lifted:  The well is artificially lifted using gas lift.  The user specifies  the gas injection pressure and temperature, the point of gas injection and the volume of injected gas. The program uses the formation gas-liquid ratio from the reservoir to the point of injection and the total gas-liquid ratio from the point of injection to the terminal (wellhead or separator) point.

Wellhead Temperature (F):  The stabilized flowing wellhead temperature.  It is used with the separator temperature to calculate the linear temperature profile in the flowline and with the bottomhole temperature to calculate the temperature profile in the well.

Wellhead Pressure (PSIA): The pressure used as the starting point in calculating the wellbore and tubing hydraulic performance curves.  Only valid if the INCLUDE FLOWLINE option is not selected.

Flowline Pressure (PSIA): The pressure used as the starting point in calculating the flowline and tubing hydraulic performance curves.  Only valid if the INCLUDE FLOWLINE option is selected.

Flowline Temperature (F):  The temperature used as the starting point in calculating the flowline and tubing hydraulic performance curves.  Only valid if the INCLUDE FLOWLINE option is selected.

Optional Hydraulics Flow Rates allow an entry for Oil, Gas Water and Total Liquid Rates.

Optional Input: Provides an entry area for Engineer Name, API number, Hydraulics Detail File location, and Formal Gaslift Report defaults (under construction).
