Modified Isochronal Test
Note: This grid has been moved to the main Multi-Point Selection panel to simplify the interface. The description of what each column and cell entry is still accurate.
FLOW RATE (mscfd or stbpd): The surface production rate measured in thousand cubic feet or barrels per day at standard conditions.
FLOWING BOTTOMHOLE PRESSURE (psia): The measured bottom hole pressure under flowing or producing conditions, corrected to mid-perforation depth.
SHUT-IN BOTTOMHOLE PRESSURE (psia): The measured static bottomhole pressure corrected to mid-perforation depth.
STABILIZED FLOW RATE (mscfd or stbpd): The surface production rate measured at standard conditions. This flowrate should be determined after the well has stabilized and the flowing bottomhole pressure is constant.
STABILIZED FLOWING BOTTOMHOLE PRESSURE (psia): The measured flowing bottomhole pressure at the end of the extended flow period corrected to mid-perforation depth.
NUMBER OF TEST POINTS: For a conventional test, this includes the total number of rates used. For isochronal or modified isochronal test, the number of test points includes the number of transient flow periods, but not the stabilized rate. This number must be greater than one and less than 11.
