The GLVSETUPTEMPLATE.rtf ASCII text file contains all the formatting information for building detailed gas lift reports.

It can be edited but it is critical that you:

1.	save a back-up copy since it is easy to corrupt this file, and

2.	never edit or save the file in MSWORD, since word will undo all the specific formatting required for SNAP to interface with the file.

Below is a sample of the text that is in the RTF file opened with a program designed to manage text files without adding new codes when saving (Visual Studio, Notepad (wordwrap OFF), Notepad++, etc):

Note that most of this text is unreadable but the term XXXEngineer is on the front of one line. Any keyword led by XXX is a keyword that SNAP will look for and replace as it builds the report. These words need to be at the beginning of a line for SNAP to find them.

There are also chunks of text that appear in the rtf template report that ultimately flow through to standard lines of information in the formal report. Below is a sample of the final report outline topic and the rtf text that generates that topic.
